The very first design created by Boards by Hunter, this board was the pioneer of a now ever growing skate brand. The bears depicted are the very inspiration for the striking grizzly seen in our logo. At the heart of the composition stands the maternal figure, her form powerful yet gentle, the mother bear stands over the cub embodying the timeless archetype of maternal protection. Nestled closely beneath his mother's head, the bear cub reaches for his mother, he exudes an aura of innocence and vulnerability. The cub's features are imbued with a sense of wonder and curiosity. The piece was hand drawn onto the deck before the fine details were hand painted and then varnished.
