The second part of the Woodland trio series, this deck depicts an adult deer, sat on his back a crow. Clad in hues of rusty orange reminiscent of autumn leaves ablaze, the deer's striking and proud posture exudes strength and vitality, its antlers reaching skyward like towering sentinels of the forest. With almost an arrogance, sits a crow, perched on the deers back as if it’s place there was unquestionable, its presence adding a sense of mystery and intrigue to the scene. The piece was hand drawn onto the deck before the fine details were hand painted and then varnished.
