The second of the three part African animals series, this time, a roaring Lion take centre stage on the deck. The main body of detailed is centred around the snarling face of the lion, the open jaws and prominent teeth representing the fierce and commanding nature of Africa’s most famous predator. The background of the skateboard is kept minimal, allowing the lion to command the viewer's attention. Soft gradients of grey and white create depth and dimension, enhancing the sense of dynamism within the artwork. The design was executed using 3 carefully cut out stencils, overlayed and spray painted over a three day period.
